This series was made during the first national lockdown, a period of timeless uncertainty, meandering through the landscape that lies locally. The pictures quietly note the sense of ambiguity and aimless wandering throughout the restrictions of lockdown. In addition to looking at ideas of freedom and constraint the series focuses on our interaction with our immediate surroundings; how, and with whom, we share it.

Pink Moon is the name of the first full moon after the spring equinox and was named within Native American culture who name each full moon of the year. It takes its name from the ground phlox wildflower, one of the most abundant buds in North America which blooms in early spring.

This body of work was made during the Pink Moon of 2020.
